IMESA Conference 2010

The 74th IMESA CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION
was held in East London at the International Conference Centre from 27th to 29th October 2010.
Conference Theme: Meeting Service Delivery Challenges
The delivery of municipal services affects some of the most fundamental aspects of human development including economic welfare, health and dignity. The Conference presentations focused basic service delivery issues and, through discussion panels and brainstorming sessions, worked to crystallize what was presented into a way forward.
Issues raised:
- What services can the public expect?
- Where are we in terms of where we want to be?
- What are the demands?
- Are currently able to meet those demands?
- What must be done to delivery on expectations?
- What is the way forward?
